Submission Instructions - Orders of Pencil Drawings
1. Terms:
- A 50% deposit is required with order. The balance of 50% is due upon delivery.
- Shipping is included if the order is pre-paid in full.
- Payments made in the form of check, money order, or credit card.
- Sales tax added to South Dakota customer orders.
2. Sales Tax
- Sales tax for Charleston County added to South Carolina orders.
3. Turnaround:
- Turnaround time is generally about 4-5 weeks. Minimum is 3 weeks from receipt of photos for order.
- If a tighter deadline is required, please email or call in advance for possibilities.
4. Instructions:
Betsey works from photographs. It is best if you can supply at least three quality photos of your subject. Photos should be sharp and show the subject with reasonable clarity. Indicate how you want the subject drawn, with or without surrounding images.
Important photo information:
- Actual (printed) photographs are preferred.
- If you plan to send digital images, please contact Betsey first to discuss the number of images you will be sending. In the case of more than three or four digital photos, or many images that require sorting and printing for reference, please send a CD or flash drive. There may be an additional charge to the drawing price to cover cost of printing digital photos.
- The original photos, CD, or flash drive will be returned to you with the completed drawing.
- Photos must contain enough detail for reference. Some photos taken with camera phones are low resolution and will not be suitable as reference material.
